Option number 1. Mastic from marshmallow
Perhaps, this is the most popular recipe, whichmost decorators use. And it is not surprising, because wedding cakes made of mastic, prepared according to this recipe, are the most delicious. To do this you will need 2 tablespoons of water, a marshmallow cup and half a cup of powdered sugar. Place the marshmallow in a glass dish, add water and put in the microwave for 20 seconds. As soon as sweets bloat, they need to be intensively stirred. After that, add the powdered sugar sieved through a sieve. Mix the mass until it becomes homogeneous, soft and supple. You need 50 grams of starch, 500 gramspowder, 6 grams of gelatin, a few drops of lemon juice and water. Soak gelatin and add the lemon juice. While the mixture swells, mix the starch with the powder. Add the gelatin and mix with a mixer. After that, wrap the mastic with a film and put it on the refrigerator for half an hour. It should be borne in mind that this mastic dries very quickly, therefore, working with it, it is important to cover the main part with a napkin or a film. Option number 3. Marzipan
For cooking, you need 200 grams of granulated sugar, 300 grams of groundalmonds, a peel of two lemons, two proteins and severaldrops of almond extract. Peel the almonds, dry it and finely bolden. All dry ingredients must be mixed, add protein and almond extract. You must remove the plastic dough and wrap it in a film.
